Place foil on a cookie sheet (make folds around the edges in case the juices run while baking) Take rib eye out of fridge set on the foil, dab it dry and season Flip and dab dry and season the other side Let it sit for 30 minutes to get to room temperature Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Heat skillet, then add oil (I use olive oil) and let that heat Sear first side for 3 minutes, flip and sear for 2 Move to cookie sheet and put in heated oven Remove at 14 minutes for medium well (10 should get you medium rare)
