French Toast

8 slices white bread (no preservatives)
    3 eggs
1 cup heavy cream (or half-n-half)
  1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons honey

Night before: set out your bread to dry out and gently whisk everything else and set it in the fridge with a plate on top.

In the morning, heat the oven to 375°, pour the batter into a pie pan and soak the first two slices of bread for 30 seconds each side. Set them on a cooling rack set in a cookie sheet and let rest for at least two minutes.

When your skillet is hot, lightly coat with butter and begin to brown your first two slices of toast. As that's going, soak your next two 30 seconds on a side and let them rest while the first ones brown. Repeat till all are browned and set on your cooling rack

Set the cooling rack in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Serve with 100% maple syrup
