Autumn Soup

    1 lb   ground beef
    4 cups water
    1 cup  chopped onion
    1      sliced carrot
    1 cup  diced celery
    1 cup  cubed raw pared potatoes
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet Browning Sauce
  1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1      bayleaf
    6      whole tomatoes

Brown beef in a large saucepan, then drain. Stir in onions and cook till tender (about 5 minutes). Stir in remaining ingredients except tomatoes; heat to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add tomatoes; cover and simmer 10 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender. | atlanta | pkd | recipes | email
