I certainly don't think your swerving from the topic
at all, and we dont have to invoke an imaginary pkd to
justify it. The death of John Lennon is very important
for setting the stage of this novel. Many people
remember where they were when they heard. People I
knew in Colorado (Mountain time: 1 hour ahead of
California)said they left work when they heard and
went to the bar.
