netcom.com

What a strange system. At their peak, we had around 15,000 users on 15 SparcStation20's running SunOS4 (which I don't think were ever upgraded for 10 years). Providing dialup, unix shell access, mail, usenet news and fabulous lynx web-browsing. They got bought out by Mindspring, which was bought out by Earthlink and then shell access was discontinued on 30 Sep 2000.

I scanned in the letter of introduction and the cover of the user guide.
