The design of this $26.5 million classroom building with over 2600 student stations includes state-of-the-art audiovisual presentation systems; distance learning features; a master media control room; flexible space for faculty and student support; a 100-station computer lab; an 80-seat cyber cafe, lounge and vending area; student collaboration space; and, 11,000 sf of retail space. The 163,000 sf facility is scheduled for completion in October 2001. Built by Lord Aeck & Sargent at the intersections of Broad, Luckie and Peachtree streets.
